Our firm provided pre-development services to Los Angeles County Supervisorial District One and the LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes Foundation to develop a mixed-use project located on two County-owned lots in Downtown’s historic core.

We are working closely with Metro’s Joint Development team to raise the profile of key development opportunities near transit. Tasks include designing and preparing draft RFP documents to solicit proposals, creating and executing a marketing strategy to generate interest from the developer community, facilitating a multi-agency taskforce to coordinate public investments, and assisting in proposal evaluation.

Our firm led a team that conducted a feasibility analysis and developed an implementation strategy for a 3.8-acre freeway cap park above the 101 Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles.  

Our firm led a multi-stakeholder strategic planning process for the Los Angeles Regional Open Space and Affordable Housing Collaborative (LA ROSAH). Our team developed a three-year strategic plan that articulated the Collaborative’s vision, mission, and values and outlined goals, strategies, and evaluation metrics to focus LA ROSAH’s efforts. In addition, we prepared a governance policy to guide decision-making and participation within the collaborative. Our approach consisted of a landscape scan of related collaborative efforts in the region; research into successful collaborative models; interviews and focus groups with members and external partners; and two full-day planning workshops with LA ROSAH members.
